Amethyst Riot is a bold, one-off ring with plenty of presence. A rich purple amethyst takes centre stage, held securely by an 18ct yellow gold setting, with the warm gold extending into carefully shaped highlights against the solid silver shoulders. Small diamonds are set into the sides, adding just the right touch of sparkle.
A nice, solid ring with a substantial feel on the finger, the combination of polished silver, warm yellow gold and deep violet creates a striking contrast. Statement-making without being over the top — this is a ring with a little bit of attitude.
Handmade in my Dunedin studio, Amethyst Riot is a one-off piece. There won't be another exactly like it.
